Cherokee County in conjunction with the Atlanta Regional Commission, commissioned the Bells Ferry Corridor Livable Centers Initiative Study to spur redevelopment along the Bells Ferry Corridor. The Bells Ferry Corridor is located in the southwestern part of Cherokee County. It is approximately 3 miles long extending south to north from nearly the Cherokee/Cobb County line to the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Kellogg Creek Road and SR 92 from Santa Fe Trail to Woodland Dr.
